RACHMANINOFF VespersSergei Rachmaninoff’s All Night Vigil stands as the crowning achievement of the “Golden Age” of Russian Orthodox sacred choral music. Often praised as Rachmaninoff’s finest work, the Vespers (as it is often called) was one of Rachmaninoff’s two favorite compositions along with The Bells.
