Britten REJOICE IN THE LAMB
Lauridsen LUX AETERNA
O'Regan DORCHESTER CANTICLES

Sunday, March 9, 2008 at 4 PM
National City Christian Church
(Thomas Circle, Northwest DC)

Joshua Habermann, conductor
Charles Miller, organ

Britten's delightful Rejoice in the Lamb reflects Christopher Smart's joyous and playful text. American composer Morten Lauriden's luminous Lux Aeterna is rapidly becoming a classic in the choral repertoire and is complemented and contrasted on this program by the brilliant dazzle of Tarik O'Regan's Dorchester Canticles for chorus, virtuoso organ, harp and percussion.

Please allow time to find street parking.  Parking is also available at hotel garages on Thomas Circle.  By Metro: take the Orange or Blue line to McPherson Square and walk two blocks north on Vermont Avenue to Thomas Circle.
